Looking forward to seeing some reports from other WFer's on how the bite was for the first Midwest Walleye Series. I predict this one will be won in the river near Oshkosh jigging or handlining. Good luck out there guys.

Not sure who ended up winning, but there were 2 groups way out in front, 18# something and 17# something. Quite a few in the 10#-12# range. Sounded like 1/2 the field was fishing Poygan.

Well, Little Nephew, my second guess would be Poygan. Based on what I've heard, that is where it was happening.

Jerry, Yes we and half the feild was at Poygan. Pat had 11.88# I believe. We finshed 14th with 11.16# I think Pat was 10th. The water droped 2 and a half degrees from yesterday had to work for the Five we got. See You in Green Bay if you arn't still working and you have that new boat up and running.

Congradulations to Rich and Chris on winning the MWS on Sunday! Nice to see the good guys win a few. Two wins in a row for Chris starting out this year - definitely got some good karma going there.

Congrats to Rich and Chris! Great job. You were probably quite comfy, too, being out of the wind all day! hehehe Hey Rich, now can we go fish together again?

Clarenece and Casey had a pretty good day too! Way to go! ANd congrats to Trautman and Little Nephew on 14th. Good thing we put you on the fish Saturday!

Can't really say it was a tough bite, cuz we had our chances. Missed a 5 at the boat in the first 10 minutes, and several other good fish that we never saw. Had one pull where we caught 3 pike in 5 minutes, all over 30". Caught lots of 14+ fish, and the whiteys were all over. Had a great time, even with the weather.
As usual, Jim Coon and his crew ran a great show. Thanks guys, and see you at Green Bay.

Great job and congrats to the top finisher and Jim coon thank you for a great tourny i was very impressed with your show. This was my first MWS tourny and cant wait to the next one. Unfortunatly our pre fish bite did not hold up. I couldn't believe how fri and sat we had a very good bite on poygans west shore and there wasnt a whole lotta poeple there those days and then sunday there's was half the field pounding the same water . Saturday prefishing was fantastic with 3-4lbers caught ! And sunday the best we could do was 2- 17" and about 40 whitebass the first 2 hours and another big northern thats was 35" plus(4th in 3 days) and then the bite really went down hill about 9 am.I think we finished like 66th out of 106.I need a few days to lick my wounds then its get ready for flw league at marinette may 14.
