| The final Tournament of the 2005 season will be held on May 14,15, 2005. This will determine the Anglers of the Year and final points for the season. Due to scheduling problems we have decided to hold the tournament at Hennepin, Illinois. The Olgsby Fire Department is conducting a white bass tournament at Barto with 80-90 teams and we thought maybe there would be to much activity at Barto to accommodate us also. For the final of the year we will be awarding $1,000.00 certificate to the Anglers of the Year compliments of Mercury Marine, a New Boat Cover up to 18 foot Custom Canvas, Magnolia, Illinois, $250.00 cash to the first team in the money with a Lund Boat compliments of Hennepen Marine, and a set of custom Illinois Walleye Trail Shirts to the Anglers of the Year. This will be a Qualifying Event for the 2006 Cabelas National Championship and the winners will receive the invitation as long as they have fished 4 tournaments with the Trail.
Tournament hours will be 7:00am to 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday with 6 fish limit per team. Entry fee will be $140.00 plus optional big fish pot each day of $10.00 a day. We will be at Barto Landing Friday 5/13/05 from 4:00 to 6:00pm for registration and at Hennepin Boat Landing Saturday 5/14/05 for registration and boat inspection at 5:00am.
