Lake Fly Hatch??

Over the last few days we've seen more and more lake flies -- not as thick as I've been told they can get, but a very noticable hatch. Does the lake fly hatch affect the bite? Is it wise to go into trout fishing mode and try to "match the hatch"?

Match the hatch is a good think in the walleye world, here's a pic out the window this morning!
