| The rain and wind made for a difficult day on the Bay, but the bite was hot and the big fish plentiful. Tuffy/Mercury Pro Pat Schuette came to the stage with a 36 pound 6 ounce bag on top of day one's 29-13 to take a slim lead over second place Patrick Neu. Glen Chenier was a bit down from yesterday with 28-1, but held on to fourth despite a HUGE 40 pound 12 ounce limit taken by Gordy Powers, moving him up into 5th.
Tomorrow's weigh in looks to be very exciting with this many top weights. 54-4 is the weight at the cut right now, and there are 12 Pros within easy striking distance of that number. Seven of the top ten have over 60 pounds!! Just 2- 7 pound fish in a good limit can vault anyone in the top 25 into tenth or better, depending on who holds their ground with limits of Green Bay hawg walleyes on day three.
Watch for the WalleyeFIRST coverage to begin again on the Live Leader Board at about 3 PM Friday.
