Winnebago walleye bite

jerry Posted 5/23/2005 12:22 PM (#32653) Subject: Winnebago walleye bite Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI I getting word that the water temperature is finally warminga bit and the walleyes are starting to get aggressive. Can anyone verify this? Thinking about taking my kids out for a few hours to try and catch a fish dinner. According to radio some boats were catching some, but it was usually on live bait. Temps however were in 55-58 range where I was. Managed to catch three WE (13, 23, 26") on crawler harnesses. If weather holds, might be about a week before cranks will work good.
