Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Thanks Guys,
I REALLY appreciate the kind words.
Truth be known.............my second place finish would not be possible without the help and great knowledge of Troy Peterson (Mr. Bluegill) and our very own Tyee (Roger). I benefited by having great friends like these two guys who know that water as well as anyone else. They lead me in the right direction while prefishing, the rest was easy. Thanks guys!!!! I owe BOTH of you BIG TIME!!!!!!!! |

Location: Wind lake, Wi | WTG, sunshine. When my partner(Cliff Jakusz) aka (Big Red Dog) and I found out you took second he turned to me and said, well I only gained one point on him and it looks like it will be a battle to the end. I wish the both of you good luck for the super tournament. For me, I finally landed that first place I was looking for. It is a great feeling that I can not get rid of, but thats a good thing. I had a great time fishing with Cliff and he really tuned me in on fishing the cane. I'll see ya at the super tornament. Take care!! |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Jim (EyeFever),
Thanks for the message. I was delighted to read about Cliff's reaction. I was jumping for joy whan it looked like I had second place secured and thought that I was taking the lead for angler of the year. When one of my friends noticed that you and Cliff were the ones in first place my jaw dropped a little..................well actually a lot
Cliff is a class act and actually came up to me after the tounament and we talked for a few minutes. We were both hoping for a little breathing room BUT the final SUPER tournament will be that more interesting. I actually hope we both make the cut and it comes down to the final weigh-in........... the suspence would drive both of us nuts but it would be a phenominal experience.
We both need to also watch our backs! There are some great sticks behind us in the standings and with this tournament being worth 300 points it is still anyone's game to win.
I already have goose bumps just thinking about it.

Location: stevens point | Sunshine, thanks for the kind words. After talking to you before and after the tourament and reading all the posts you have made here on WF you are a class act yourself.
That would really top off the season if we both made the final cut of the next tournament. The suspense for both of us and everyone watching the weight-in would be great. I wish you luck at the next event.
I would not have done this good if it wasn't for the great co-anglers that I fished with. Thanks John, Todd, and Jim for being great anglers in the boat with me. |
