Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Congrats Rich S and Thumper on your second place finish yesterday in the GNWC. Rich, it was great to see you up on that stage again. Hope you keep it going and move up one more spot during the Mercury Nationals. YOU are the team to beat!!!!

Location: Berlin | Thanks guys. After the year you have had, that is a real compliment Sunshine. It has been a good year for me so far and I hope it continues. Most of the credit belongs with my MWC partner (Mark O'Brien) and his dad (Mike O'Brien). Those guys are in a league all of their own and I appreciate all they have done for me. Blaine Hornes is another that has taught me a ton especially about Spring Valley. Thanks again to those guys, Chris M and my brother Dave. You have all help make this a year I will never forget.
Jack, which side of me were you on? 1st or 3rd? |

Location: Berlin | I did not realize that was you. It sure made it interesting to be fishing that close. We figured our weights were going to be close. Congrats again on a great job but it would have been nice if you were in the WWA instead:) Didn't you guys win the Fleet a few years back?

Location: Oshkosh,WI | Yea, you know I have been here for a long time, and you think I would have recognized your name as well!! I appartently was "caught in the moment"! We came close to FF last year as we had a great second day! I hate to break the news to you Rich but it came down to a last minute decision for us to get in the GNWC as we had fished the whole WI WWA circuit last year - then I had my son and my life/schedule is not permitting such luxuries!! So we got in the GNWC instead as it just made more sense.... Good luck in the Merc, not in, but we goter Otter! |

Location: Berlin | Normally I always wait till the end to weigh in. It was gut wrenching waiting for you guys. I knew after we missed a nice one that we were not destined to win. Mistakes are what seperates the winners from the losers. You earned it, enjoy it. Now the warm up season is over, good luck in Otter.
Jayman, I said it before and I will say it again: Sluggo's, waxworms, leadcore and the west end of Poygan!

| Thanks guys. Sunshine, it was too bad about your GPS going out on you. I had some equipment failure (lower unit) myself and had to prefish for 2 days with only my 4 hp kicker....it was the first time I could go wide open thru the no wakes! I'll be stuck off the water for a while, so if anyone's got a seat open let me know. Dave S |

| Shep- I'd love to go with you, but you should know that Rich said "I don't care who finds out our spots, except for Shep..". Just kidding of course. Good luck to ya if you're fishing the Merc.

Location: Berlin | That would be fine with me as long as Dave does not tell you the color or size of the Sluggo's we are using. Looks like this streak is coming to an end by the way this week has been going for me. You know it is bad when I am fishing the mud! Good luck to you Shep. |

| The way my week has gone, I'll be lucky to catch a weigh fish at all! All I need to make it worse, is for another deluge like last year Friday!
Good luck to you, Rich. And for that metter, good luck to all you WFer's fishing the Merc this weekend. At least I can still have a few beers with you guys after the weigh in! Nobody will even know we were fishing! hehehe
Sluggo's. hehehe Well, to be honest, Dave did tell me. I put dorsal fin spines under his thumb nails to make him talk!

| Ahhh the memories.
I was a much better fisherman before having three kids. Thanks to the random bot troll for pulling this one out of the archives. |

Location: Berlin | The funny part is that with the wind predicted we might fish that exact same spot for the Merc this weekend I bet Jon was thinking the same thing. |
