Did pretty good today on the Bay. The ticket was speed trolling Pinconning Paralyzer Rattle Tot's, 90 back. The bad thing was that we lost a few dandies, because of the waters stress on the fish at that speed. I know, I should have slowed the boat down for every fish, but my little Yamaha 8 horse High Torque needed to keep the Big Grady on course agains't the waves, so I couldn't.

Hey Dan Fan, Maybe some people like hearing what Walleye Express has to say. I never met the guy but he seems like a very nice guy and helps out a lot of people on this site. I personally don't care if he plugs his sponsores, that's a good way to see what is work in his area. Keep up the good work Walleye express.

My feelings exactly, I enjoy Captain Dan's reports and pictures. Keep 'em coming, sir. Hey Dan, I'll be over there next week for the PWT, any chance I can buy you a toddy?

Captain Dan,

Keep your reports coming. I didn't see what was written, but obviously it wasn't worth repeating. Your reports are educational and enjoyable to read. Looking forward to seeing you next week.

Wulp...

It appears I even missed the slam myself. To bad. I haven't been upset since I missed that 2 foot put yesterday for par on #17, that would have won us the back nine. Kinda miss the almost daily slams I got on that other board from Dan Fans. Glad to see though that (as usual) people appreciate and will stick up for the contributors on this site.

I guess Dan Fan hasn't been around long enough to notice, that I tell it like it is rather it's my sponsors or not. Storm Lures and Dave's Lures are not the same thing anymore. And I didn't start out with the speed/reaction bite program in mind Monday. But it seemed everywhere the Paralyzer was, rather it was inside or outside rod it took fish. So I started changing them all over to that color. I actually ran the Winning Streaks in that color 75 back with success as well, but they are called Walleye Express in that brand of lure and not Paralyzers. I know that will grind Dan Fan as well.

The speed thing came when I was trying to make a turn and go back agains't the waves. I have to really give that little HT Yamaha 8 horse (yet another blatant product plug) the gas to get it to turn the SHIP I have. The fact that it's off-set on the back and not straight in line with the boat, also makes for giving it the gas. Anyway when I did, the outside board was almost flying and we hit two nice fish. So I kept the speed up and it paid off.

And I'd like for you guys who will be in town next week, to give me a call, or drop by my boat at Hoyles for info if you want, or just to meet and chew the fat or share a friendly drink. Can't say that we'll be able to do it on any particular night, or that I'll be at home if you call, given our fishing/pre-fishing schedules. But I'd really like to meet any or all you guys personally. My number is 1-989-892-1920. Dan Fan....leave a message.

I will be staying at Hoyles, so that's easy. I'll call early next week.

Steve/Everybody

My last scheduled Bay charter (for right now) is Saturday the 25th. And the next after that is the 2nd of July. This of course can change daily with one phone call from a client. But any day after the 25th (as of now) is open to getting together for some serious (Fat Chewing and Fishing Lies).

Darn I also missed it.Keep on posting Dan if you stop what are those guys going to do with their time?So let me put in a plug for things that are working for me this year.Farm an Fleet has a shad rap in orange that is a custom color for them(I think it's a 50th year type thing)It's been hot for Eyes and big time on steelhead, also Daves pearl/chart/hot pink in the nitro shiner is fast becoming one of my go to baits.Maybe one of the guys can pick up the shad raps for you and bring them on over.I'm going fishing Paul
