it should be a great tourney.although i gave up tourney fishing a few years ago.if i was to fish this one i would be trolling in the mud with perch hot-n-tots with 50' set back if it is calm. if it's windy i would slip bobber some rock piles. should take around 38lbs to win it. good luck to all!!!!

Good Luck to Jayman and Cr , Also The other Wf`ers that are going to fish . Good Luck to The Dream Team of Tom and Dean who are also fishing this event.

Sounds like it`s been a tough bite the last few days with all the wind .....

I fished from the shore this morning, does that count?? LOL!!!

Caught 4 eyes in the 16 inch range and one small smallmouth with the wind blowing into the rocks. The shoreline bite as well as the rock pile bite should be on with the wind today.....

Congrats to Schmitty and Mark on a very good finish of 8th! Also, I see Gary and Marge, fellow MWS'ers, in 13th. WTG you two! And WFer, Casey Bohn had a nice 22nd place finish.

Hey Rich, did you know this was limited to Bago when you entered?! Stuck in the mud again, huh!?

Yup, we suck on Winnebago. I don't know what we were thinking. We were on big fish but knew it was going to be hard to get a limit. I am disqusted with my performance but am looking forward to the championship to prove myself again. Congrats to all that did well!

Rich, home waters are the hardest to fish. I had a bite going on pool 14 for 3 weeks in a row and tourney day nothing but small fish or slot fish. Dont be so hard on yourself and look at what happened and learn from it.

Rich,

Just giving you some of the dorsal spine under the thumb nails ribbing! Don't be so hard on yourself. I believe you are a good enough angler to figure this trolling stuff out. I was sure we were going to move up at the Merc, when all our weigh fish came on one color/blade on Saturday. Made some more up for Sunday, hit the same spot, and all we could get were smaller fish. I was sure we were going to crush 'em! That's a tough bite to deal with out there this year. Even with the weather relatively stable, the fish, IMO, seem to move alot, day to day, than in years past.

A big hats off to the winners Ludwig and Stein. You guys are hot this year. Keep it up.

And Great job to the "Dream Team" of Keenan and Arnoldussen for 2nd. Amazing to get it done time and time again.

I'll sit comfortable with the 60th place finish, we struggled during prefishing and were happy to bring in limits both days. But now, I'm looking forward to the pigs of the bay....Gotta love them big girls.

Rich, "'bago", I think that sums it up in one word. I know that feeling.....we had it at the end of Spring Valley. Talk to ya soon.
