| There's been some decent walleye fishing, mornings and afternoons mostly. Dark colored jigs tipped with a leech or piece of crawler. There's been good cat fish action too from what I've heard. Time to take the jig stick for a "walk". | |

| I'd agree, I have been up fishing three out of the last five weekends and catfish and walleyes seem to be the only thing biting. All fish were caught between 4:30-6:30 in the morning on black floating jigs and leeches. Where did all of the smallies, large mouths, and northerns go? I have always been able to catch a lot of those in June and July over the last twenty years. | |
