Anyone use the new Church Tacker smaller boards yet... I just ordered six and I'm about to give them a try... I'm guessing they might work with spinning tackle and lighter lines and baits....

Be on the water most nights this week... I'll post if I run into any consistant patterns, I have not been out since last Friday's trip to the reefs.

Any reports from the weekend would be helpful!!

Seems to me they would be good for shallow water trolling, the stealth thing y'know. Never used them though.

Didn't get out this weekend but the weights in the FLW tourney weren't that hot. Pretty tough bite from what all the anglers reported.

i got set of small ones. they are alright, but they cant handle much tension. they dont really kick out like the big boys do, evan when trolling spinners.

I've tried the medium and miniature Church boards. The medium ones work good with about anything-cranks or spinners. I use them up north in a smaller boat with spinning rods so Idon't have to deal with quite as much line tension at the boat. I don't believe the miniature Church boards work too well. If the lure generates too much pull the board will not plane out to the side very well.

The new smaller boards work great on light tackle...Work them in shallow water and small baits..been using them on green bay and Little bay de noc
with long rods, excellent for working breaks electic trolling motor ...I call them the bobber board, just grab and pull in...mrbill
