Well I had a few small issues that I wanted taken care of on my boat, I called Crestliner and they told me to just bring it in. I dropped it off at the factory and 1 week later my boat was back on the water! I received the BEST service I can remember ever getting! I wanted to post here to give these guys there just due!

Thanks guys thats what I call service!

Crestliner owners -

I am hoping Jeff and Jerry will come up with some answers here. As you probably know, I have my 2004 202TS for sale. One interested party was hesitant as he said he had heard some bad things about the hulls of Crestliners. I have not heard that and want to feel comfortable assuring him of that. The more satisfied owners, the better. Also if someone has had problems, I would like to hear about that as well.

Thanks,
Honsie

I have not heard anything about "bad" hulls, infact if some of the "pro-staffer" don't break them chances are that the avg. guy won't! I will say they handled all my little issues with speed and care! I do not beleive that they have a so called hull issue! I'm sure it's another seller trying to sway this buyer away from you're boat!

The Crestliner Boat has been on the market and in tough competition for a very long time, Crestliner's superb long term customer service record speaks for itself.

Its just too bad some of the dealerships that deal crestliner are not as helpful. Dont get me wrong I am a crestliner Man and always will be, but I have a dealership 1 mile from my house and I will never deal with them again because they fight you on every repair. hERES ONE OF MANY FOR INSTANCES, I HAD THE ROPE BREAK ON MY WINCH A WEEK AFTER I BOUGHT THE BOAT AND ONE OF THE GUYS WENT OUT AND TIED A NOT IN THE ROPE AND PUT THE CLIP ON AND SAID ITS FINE NOW. I had to argue to get them to put a new rope on because I guess that winch is not for cranking your boat up the trailer at all even if it is less than a foot.

I have 2001 1850 sportfish and had some issues when I first got it in 2002. It didn't plane out correctly, needed a windshield upgrade ane some minor issues that were all delt with without any hassle at all. Cedar Lake Sales in West Bend did a good job and never once questioned anything. Crestliner took care of the planing issue at the end of the summer (needed to be sent in and I need the boat). I think most of the problems people have are with dealers and not the manufacture. As far as the boat goes I can't complain, it performs well on Winnebago and Lake Michigan.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me liking Crestliners and clouding my judgement. As I said, I am more than happy with mine, just wanted to ensure it wasn't a so called "known issue" and I want to be as up front as possible. This guy wasn't as interested as he seemed at first as he was wanting glass and just looked at mine since it was a good deal. Thanks again.

I have a 2004 TS202 with a 225 merc. I have not had one issue with this boat. Befor this boat I had a Crestliner 1750 for 5 years with no issues. I have three friends with Crestliners and no issues there either. At this point I won't buy anything but a Crestliner. My TS202 has all the performance I need and it is an awesome boat to fish out of. Tons of room and a lot of storage.

This is my first season running the Crestliner TS202 and I am very happy with performance and the service I recieve from Crestliner. I have sevreal friends who have had Crestliners for several years and they are all very happy with their Crestliners and their service. No hull issues at all.

Other than bildge pumps and livewell pumps I have had zero issues with my TS202. Of course they were covered under warranty no problem.
