Location: Neenah, WI | We haven't caught any. But, we did have some harnesses bit off about a half dozen times this year. I figured it was due to Pike or Muskies but I didn't know they planted any. |

Location: Menasha, Wis. | I have been lucky enough to have gotten two Musky up to the side of the boat over the last ten years. First one was on Bago and was about 45" long. The last one was on Winneconnie and that one was about 48" long. I was just happy to see them and get my lure back. Had something hit a large crank on the south end of Bago last year, couldn't turn it and it ended up biting off the lure.
The Musky clubs have been planting the Spotted Muskies in the upper lakes for a couple of years. So if they are up to 28 - 33 inches now, they are doing pretty good. I had a flyer on the number and size of Muskies planted last year. If I remember correctly, the sizes ranged from 5 - 12 inches long and the total number was around 7,000 - 8,000 fish. If I can find the report again I will post the actual numbers.
Won't be long now before the locals start seeing huge Muskies swimming around with 10 pound Walleyes in their mouths
Happy fishing to all |

| Ritch, based on what's been seen in Green Bay with the great lakes spotted strain, the growth rates are phenomenal. Fish are reaching the 40+" range in 6-8 years. |

Location: Freedom, WI | A guy caught a Musky on Winnebago this past weekend, he has a picture of it on Lake-Link under the Winnebago fishing reports. I have caught some Northerns fishing for Eyes out there, but never a Musky. I would think that Poygan/Butte des Morts would be the best bet for Muskies! |
