With temps lowering overnight and the high temps during the day lowering when will the troll bite with cranks pickup. I heard the reefs are starting to produce. Would pulling shallow water cranks over the top of them pick fish up. Will the suspended mud bite go back into swing like it was in June/July. Thanks Bob

Mud bite won't kick in again till next summer. The walleyes have plenty of forage to last them the entire winter. The colder the winter, the more shad will die, and the better the bite next year.

Fall is good though on the reefs and rocky shorelines. Troll them, cast them, jig fish them, slip bobber, all will produce.

Good luck.
