Don't quote me on this one Swampbuck, but I heard the Geano Beach area gave up some nice fish during this tournament.

18 lbs with 3 fish is very nice Butch. I heard this from some of the other guys fishing the tourney.

We only ran a little south and got beat up bad had to do some boat repairs at the launch almost lost our windshield on the short run back. the guys who ran north stayed out of the big waves I heard a report of some big fish on chamber but not confirmed.

We ran to near geano's area for the mws and we got the living snot beat out of us and one broken passenger seat. We pulled our limit of 4 fish(24.6) and plus some and our big fish was 9.44lbs. Unforntunatly we had to pull out at 12:30 to assure we would get back by 2:30.Hell of a day and great time!

My brother and I fished this tournament. We fished Green Island on Sunday for three fish. There were lots of fish there, but we could not put a pattern together. The walleyes we caught came from the bottom to 10 feet in the water column, and each one was on a different blade color. We also caught sheephead, carp, suckers and catfish - so it was a very interesting day. Was really glad we did not make the run to Chambers as the wind was nasty later in the day and made for tough boat control pulling harnesses.
Hopefully the bite will get even better.

Happy fishing to all

Thanks for sharing,
I did not fish this last tourney(MWS). I don't think I will be fishing the bay anytime soon. I was just interested on where the bite was on the bay.
Also congrats to winners.
