Butch.

That is really cool. I watched it for almost 10 minutes and only seen one Atlantic mixed in with all those Chinooks. Funny with all the Pink salmon in that system right now, you don't see one mixed in there at all. Yet when you fish up near the Falls a mile upriver, thats all you see and catch are the pinks. I think the Pinks are afraid of the kings nipping at them. Also surprised I didn't see more lampreys attached to the kings.

If you are familliar with this dam, you'd know that there are flood lights on at it's face at night. I know because I've fished all night in front of it before in years past. Take note of the fish that get close to the camera when it's supposed to be dark. You can see that there is a light on them.

If you goto the following link it states that "During the week, at dusk, the Fishcam is turned off and a pre-recorded fishcam video will be shown."

On another note I was watching it lastweekend and seeing a few male pinks but they were farther back. The wind and the rain this week clouded up the water and you can't see as far back.

Can't vouch for when they trun off the cam, but the dam does leave it lights on all night. We went up there for a few years in a row for the pinks. We'd launch at the City Park downstream a little ways from this Big Brown dam where this cam is, and fish up near the falls or the other power dam just below it on the American side. Simply cast or virtical jig with Lur Jenson Krocodiles, silver/blue for the pinks. Use Chunk spawn and bobbers for the kings. Four of us caught 180 pinks and 11 kings in a 2 day marathon one year. Sad part is the pinks are not that good as table fair.
