Location: Combined Locks, WI | If you want all ten colors on your reel, probably the best bang for you buck is the Bass Pro Gold Cup 4000. The Diawa LC47 will fit about 9 colors but is a bit more expensive. I prefer the Diawa LC47 but I have the Gold Cups and they have given me no problems. |

Location: WENATCHEE, WASHINGTON | penn 109 or that size reel will hold 100 yds of ripcord si 15lb from cabelas and five colors of lead line. needle knot to get the two together the same for the leader. |

| The Okuma Convector CV-45D linecounter will hold a full core (10 colors) with room for some backing. |

| reelman,
i second that! the penn 320 gti is a great leadcore reel. we used them on the charter boat and had great results. |

| I'd have to vote for the Bass Pro LC 4000 series or the Daiwa 47LC as I use the line counter part of the reel all of the time for precision contour cranking. |

| For 10 color-I have Daiwa SG57 spooled with 400' backing/10 colors/30' 20# Flouro leader. If I am looking to troll the bottom at Hudson Canyon, I can add probably another 3-4 colors!!!

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I also like the Diawa 47 linecounters as I like to use the counter along with counting the colors for precise repeatability when presenting crankbaits deep. |
