Pools 13-16 Report

reels Posted 9/27/2005 10:05 AM (#36192) Subject: Pools 13-16 Report Member Posts: 110 I fished pool 13 last week and 14-16 the last few days pre fishing with the FLW guys. It is no secrete the bite is slow. I am surprised at how many bass has been caught though. I heard from several tourney guys that pool 16 was totally dead! I fished 14 with a few guys, and we did get into some nice fish here and there, but very hard to pattern. Solid masses of salad coming down are not going to help the situation. Trolling is next to impossible. I would guess the wing dam guys, or jiggers, will do well. Even with the lifting of the slot limit here for the tourney, I would be surprised to see more than 10-12# average per day for any team.
