A "Home party" of our own

I was tasked with a situation earlier today by a good friend. We were talking fishing in general and, come to find out, that both of our wives attended "home type parties" last night. My wife came home with the usual craft-type items (for lack of a better word, I'll call it junk), and had me look these items over, all the while looking for an approving reaction. My friend experienced a similar thing. It came to my friend and I that we fisher-persons and outdoors enthusiasts could use something similar to this. We could also use this occasion to possibly have a cocktail or two. I would like to know what you think of this? Does this interest anyone?
