I'd like to take a moment to ask everyone to put the family of Glenn "Wags" Wangerin in your prayers. Glenn's mom has come down with cancer and according to Glenn there isn't much that can be done. He brought her home yesterday so she could be in her own home. As some of you may or may not remember Wags lost a grandchild last year so I'm sure your prayers at this time will help. Wags is solid as a rock and always has a joke to tell, he's one of the best guy's I've met since I moved up here. If you are ever having a bad day call Wags and he'll chear you up! If you ever get a chance to stop and talk to him you'll be glad you did. Manny |

Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I'm thinking theres fewer things tougher in life than knowing the end is near. Not only for the person close to the end, but for the immediate family who loves them so. And I often wonder if it would have been harder on me or easier to accept my own fathers death, if I knew ahead of time he was going to pass away. I'm sure it would be different for everybody, but no less heartbreaking. God bless your whole family Wags, and keep you strong during this time. |

| Oops pushed the wrong button!
Wags you are in my thoughts and prayers. I just recently went thru this with my father. He passed away May 12 from lung cancer. The last 3 1/2 months of his life I moved in with him and took care of him. He actually took care of me! I had a difficult time with it but he made it so much easier as we spent some very quality time together, my memories are precious. Just love her up and kiss her lots. Faith is a great comfort.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I truly hope she is able to beat this nasty sickness. There is always hope. Just to show what kind of guy Wags is, during the 2003 MWC Championships, he let my partner and I use his boat for the last two days of the tournament after our boat was put out of commission. At that time we barely knew each other. This past summer my father-in-law passed away after a long battle with cancer. It certainly makes you re-evaluate life and how each day should be lived to the fullest. |
