| SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW HIM, SOME OF YOU MAY NOT. MIKE AND OUR HUNTING GROUP HUNT IN BIG FALLS,WI. OPENING DAY HE SHOT A BUCK AND AS HE WAS GETTING DOWN OUT OF HIS STAND HE FELL APPROX. 14 FEET. NEEDLESS TO SAY HE WAS AIRLIFTED TO THEDA CLARK. HE IS SLOWLY RECOVERING FROM A FEW FRACTURES IN HIS SPINE. I JUST WANTED TO GET THE WORD OUT TO THE FISHING COMM. YOU MAY HAVE SEEN HIM AROUND ON POYGAN/ WINNEBAGO SYSTEM. HE LIVES TO FISH WALLEYE'S AND IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM, I WOULDN'T BE FISHING. THIS MAN HAS MENTORED ME AND IS A GAS IF YOU KNOW HIM. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM. HE GOES BY (GAMEHOG) ON THE MARINE BAND. SHORTLY HE WILL BE SHIPPED TO A V.A. IN MILWAUKEE. |

| Hey Rodhog (Mark)
The Van Oss Brothers are thinking about him and hoping everthing works out great for Mike.
He is fun man to be around and fun to talk fishing with him.
Mike is a strong man and I'm sure he will make a full recovery.

Location: Neenah, WI | I stopped by the hospital to see Mike on Monday. After you know a guy for about 45 years it's tough to see him like that. I was happy to see his attitude is so upbeat. He told me he's got a long way to go but if anybody can do it, he sure can. He's got a great family backing him up and great medical care. Here's to you Mike.
P.S. I also know the flight nurse who helped bring him in. She said he was a good patient all the way. |

| Thanks for all the prayers for Mike.
And thanks to Theda Star and the Iola Fire Department for their professional assistance.
Pray to the fishing gods for him and his partner Carol. |
