This cold is going to have an effect although the warm weekend should open make some areas fishable. I'll take a ride tomorrow and let you know what I see. Man, today would have been nasty on the water. Better off having the grandkids show off their new T-shirts.

Joel what is the word on the river...been quiet lately? Not much time left, but would like to get a few if they are biting. Bob "THEFLYMAN"

In fremont this morning the river is frozen side to side. The weekend promises to be warmer but with the water at the right temp now to freeze.....

Nothing fishable anywhere right now, unless near Chico's as I didn't get there today. From what I saw in Fremont, that doesn't look good either. Might pop open next week if we get enough rain to pick it up and warm temps they are calling for. Wednesday looks good but no guarantees

Popped open for just a couple of days of some excellent fishing. The river looked like it was full of toilet paper today from the layer of snow floating around with the current. Cold but worth the effort.

Heard that guys were out near the Northport bridge over the weekend. I'm guessing in the still water to the north of the bridge. Ice has locked up downtown for a few days now. Saw open water at the confluence of the Wolf & Embarrass.

Good luck
