Tuffy Warrenty?

There are alot of smoke and mirrors in most warranties out there. Look at the other warranties they are original owner warranties, transferrable once for a fee to a single second owner that terminates either 5 or 7 years after the ORIGINAL owner's purchase date. All other glass boat warranties cover non-impact gel coat crazing, the most common manufacturing defect, for only one year. Tuffy covers the full five years. Location: Rhinelander Tuffy covers the gel for the warranty period if there is a defect or warranty issue with the gel crazing. Impact crazing, like striking a dock at 20 MPH, won't be covered. If anything in the contruction of the boat fails in that period, they will cover it. I have seen them reach over that line many times when contruction problems were discovered in a boat out of warranty, too, offering the customer more than would otherwise be expected for sure. If it's a manufacturing warranty issue, they are really good with the customer service. Generally, any problem with a boat is going to surface in the first couple years anyway.
