Spawning Walleye

BIGDAY96 Posted 3/8/2006 6:25 PM (#40575) Subject: Spawning Walleye Tried to do a search on this before asking, but couldn't find anything in a reasonable manner. I've just taken up fishing again and when I was a kid nobody taught me how to identify a female walleye pre-spawn. I plan to be fishing Wolf/Poygan/Winneconne here this spring. Can someone share with me how to properly identify a pre-spawn female? Am I being stupid here and it will be obvious when I catch one?
