| I was out on Sunday for several hours, learning to handline for most of it. We pretty much stayed out of the way, but did get in some jigging. Felt nice to set thew hook on a couple 20 inchers! Lot's of boats out, and it was really nice, weatherwise. Fish seemed to come in bunches. Nothing for a while, and then all 3 of us would score in a few minutes. Fish we got were at the ottom of the break. We were towards the doo-doo plant, just south, and on the west side. |

| Lloyd.....if I were you, I'd be inclined to suggest that some of these boys just go pound sand. Board's getting a little to "clubby" for my taste. Cut a new guy a break, eh? |

| Sorry, I didn't notice that. Thanks for setting me straight. Lloyd, you have my apology. Hope you accept it.
XXL, as far as cutting a break. When one spams ALOT, one tends to get a bit less of a break. I figure you are probably a friend of Lloyd, and not of Axl. I didn't notice you ever speaking out on his behalf.
As far as clubby, yes, I guess you could say that. Lot's of members in the club, too. We don't always see eye to eye, but we also don't all just pound our chest from our very first post to try to spam up more business for ourselves. So, XXL, 832 to you, too.

You can just feel the love here. I guess open water did not come fast enough for ALL of us.
Shep, what does 832 mean? Is this a military reference?
For the record, I thought the exact same thing that you and others thought about the 30 inche reference. THAT was a very easy mistake to make. It takes a big man to acknowledge he was wrong and puts his name to it too. |

| Dennis,
How's things? If you need a couple extra rods out for prefishng PWT, let me know. Unlike Tyee, I can get out of work easily!
The 832 is code for GPSUYA. Not from the Military, though. Had a whole list that we used, cause we'd get our ears boxed if we swore. hehehe

| Well I just figured with all the people that fish there there would be a seperate forum for it. Anyway me and my boy were up there 3-18 and I thought we did rather well. We tried past the power plant at a couple of spots I know and zilch. We went back up toward the dam and anchored. We ended up with 30 fish to 24". We also caught a 28" northern and a couple of cisco All in all it was a good day. What was especially nice there were maybe 50 boats out all day no zoo!!! We caght most of our fish on artificial bait. we didn't have a taker on live bait. |

I like it.
Still, love GFY. HA!
Yep, was thinking about mixin it up in the zoo this weekend. I figure since the Illinois Reever is crawlin with MWC'ers, it might be a bit of crowd out there.
Did feesh it once before, with no luck. (Go figure). Been paying close attention though. May drop the reeg in this weekend. Now, I figure it can get ugly out there, but how ugly can it get? Cant be more uglier than the SR damn last week. Definately 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb bag.
Thanks for the teeps!
Oops forgot something.
Think my 3 ways pullin reegs are worth using up in Depere, or should I stick to casting cranks/jeegs?

| Couldn't be fish from the Fox. Leaves on the trees are green, and the people are in shorts.
Aren't you pushing just a bit too much? You really have not offered any real reports, information, or tips. Mostly just pimped your business. And with fish caught elsewhere, at that. |

| Tyee,
Tell your son to move his hand.. I can't see the double secret bait you got him hooked up with!!
I'm hoping I can get my youngest son out this weekend now that he's done with Basketball... I can't believe he actually starting to prefer girls to fishing.... I guess I'll just have to wait till he grows out of it or finds a girlfriend that like to fish!

Sometimes I have to double check to see if I'm on Walleyefirst or another site, that fourishes on the anonymous posting |

| Pat, good luck this weekend. I'll probably try to get out as well, on Saturday. Gotta get a couple for sale signs for the Lund! If I don't see you before you leave for Dtroit, make sure you show the Posse what's up out there!
Tyee, that boy of yours is kickin' yer arse! Again! Keep it up Chase.
As for the anonomous posts, I tend to agree to a certain extent. I'm a little more turned off by the unabashed, self promotion by Lloyd, trying to get everyone to his website to review his reports, than I am by the anon, pointing out that he is not providing any help here. I think Jerry was trying to make that point in a separate post, but I guess it didn't sink in. And to compare this site to the other, well, if that was the case, eveyone of those self promotional posts would have been nuked within minutes. There would have been no opportunity for anons to post what they did. I have absolutely no problem with Lloyd posting, but maybe he could post current reports, and pics to match? Adding pics of fish not recently caught is a bit too much, in my opinion.
I don't sign my whole name. Everybody knows me as just Shep!

| Just gotn back from De Pere. We got plenty of fish, nothing big yet . We managed a couple of 23". We are still just casting a jig and twister no live bait. If you want to no the spots just look for boats there's only about a 100 or so. Really tho we caught them from 4' out to 12' of water. Watching other boats it looked like most of them were caatching fish to. Will be fishing next three days and nights Hopefully we get some big ones. will report back on Thursday. see ya on the water. |

Location: Menasha, WI | Was anchored on the river by 5am this morning, we were among the first 5 or 6 boats on the water. We started just north of the dam in 8.5 fow and did well with a 1/2oz glow jig and a minnow until the sun came up and 30+ boats joined us. Mostly smaller fish 13"-15". After the crowd moved in we moved north to the 172 bridge and slipped the current for some nicer fish, but still not huge. Our biggest of the day was 22". Caught fish in depths from 8'-16' by the bridge but the deeper water was a bit more productive. 3/8oz chartreuse jig and minnow as vertical as possible worked best but we did get a few on lindy rigs. We tried a variety of plastics but they didn't work. We also caught 1 pike around 33". By the time we left at 10:30am I'd guess there were nearly 200 boats between the dam and the bridge.

Location: Orland Park, IL | Well, was lucky enough to do the shore thingy from Voyagers last Friday night. Left the boat in Pipe, WI and headed to the casino for the dinner buffet and some gaming. Afterwards, full of all you can eat steak, and a few bucks in my pocket, headed over to voyagers. Got there about 1030pm. It was thinnin out, with most folks leavin and saying it was slow. Casted for about an hour with a pink/white tweester jeeg and firetiger crank. Gotta couple of bumps, but no feesh. Launch was packed. Piers are in.
Cop at the gas station said DNR shocked an 18lb walleye a few weeks back. Sounds like a nasty rumer to me. |

| My dad and I were out today. We had 32 eyes, a catfish, smallie, and a sucker. The stinger hook was a must. Orange and chartreuse jig combo was the trick. The biggest was 3.5 pounds. Lost a dandie! Fished 20 feet of water buy dam. Also picked up 5 fancasting jigs by the 172 bridge. Between the Crows Nest and Voyageur picked up two in 5-7 foot of water. Will be up Saturday and Sunday. |

| Fished on the 29th for the first trip out. Verticle jigged the deeper hole just downstream from th dam. Marked plenty of fish on the vex and found yellow to be a good color until the bite died around 930ish. Had about 15 eyes. Most were 15-18 with a couple in the low 20's. One big smallie, a 20 pound carp and a 10 pound flat. Tried pulling flies as well with only one to show for it.
Also tried several other areas b/w the deep hole and the 172 with very little success. |

| Fished 3/24-3/28 an awesome 5 days well over 200 fish. The biggest taped 29 1/2" a solid 10. The rest of the fish were your average Depere fish 15" to 25" We found the fish any where from 2' down to18' The big fish was caught in 2' of water and not by the dam and was caught on a jig/minnow combo at 8:15 p.m.. We fished up by the pillars by the dam one night for 5 hrs. and could not buy a bite. Most of the fish we caught were on the edge of the big hole by the dam and by the wastewater plant and then down river at the 172 Bridge. 99% of the fish we caught was without livebait. A1/4 oz jig with a white twister tail was all that was needed. The trick was to cast out and retrieve with a pumping motion and watching your line. If i would learn how to post pics I would but my computer doesn,t like me . IF your in need of pics for proof I'll try and get abuddy to help me. Good Luck and tight lines |
