The PWT rules require me to put my name on my motor. Anybody tell me where I have these made? What is the cost? Thanks,
Rich

rich,
you are a npaa member right? if so call the office and they will have them for you (arround 10-15$ i think) if you are not a member any vinal shop can handle that.
give me a call if you still have problems,i have a place right down the road that does good work.

Rich,
You could give Tim a call at Spellman's, ask him who does thier vinyl lettering for boat numbers. That guy does good work and I'm sure could get a name on your engine in short order.

Good luck

Rich,

I've been having Rob Stratton do my decals for the PWT name and my business. I'm very happy with his work and price. He can be reached at:

Thanks for the fast response guys. I really wish I did not have to do this but I guess you have to play by the rules.

Don't worry, Rich, once your name's on your engine. I'll be able to say "Rich Stadler you're my hero" hahahaha

Good Luck in the PWT.

Thanks Jason:( I have nothing against others that want their name on the motor or truck but that is just not me. I do understand the PWT's reason for it but none the less, it will make me feel like a poser. I am getting them made at Fast signs in Appleton and it is costing about $15.00 I talked with Becky D there and she was very helpful. Thanks again for the quick responses.

Wait, I got some paint left from the house build, and I think I can find a 1" brush! I think I could fit Richard Stadler on the cover in 3 lines, maybe 4!

I guess the question is Tim, will you do it for under $15.00?

Rich,
I'm in the same situation as you. The last thing I want is my name on my motor. I might take it off after the tournament. Thanks for the tip on Fast sign. Seems like a great price. How high are you getting your lettering? The rules talked about 2". It can't be a signature?

Thanks.

Be careful guys, the PWT is being a stickler for details. Make sure ALL the letters are 2" tall in an easy to read font, this means that you can't get real fancy with script and stuff. Email me if ya need any, $15 is a darn good price for a pair, I usally do 'em for twenty but I throw in 4 or 5 smaller one to put on your truck and other things. Once you cut one it's really nothing to cut 4 more.

But can you make Rich's name in 4 lines? AND have paint runs? hehehe

Dave, I did not see your post until now. I am getting mine done in a "Bold Informal Roman" script. I told Becky to make the lower case letters 2" tall. It will also be done in an off white. I will take a picture of it when I get it tomorrow. I think it will look nice but different than all the rest. Too bad it will only stay on for a couple weeks.
