I have a x-15 and a Garmin GPS and Sonar on my boat and the x-15 tranducer is in the hull and the garmin is mounted on the back. they are approximatly 2 feet apart. when i turn them both on the x-15 loses bottom and flashes and will not respond. What could be wrong? Are they even capatable to run together?

Sounds like interference, although, completely losing bottom and flash digital is a bit extreme. Usually with interference, I just get verticle lines on my X-15. Still useable, though. How is the battery condition? Full Charge? Maybe try reseating the transducer connection to the X-15?

What is the frequency of the Garmin? Maybe try to disable the Garmin sonar, while still running the Garmin GPS? Can you do that with the Garmin?

Battery are great, have not check the frequencies but i will tonight. the x-15 losses the bottom dept when we put on the sonar from the Garmin. if we shut the sonar off on garmin everything is fine. i will try what you suggested. Thank you very much.
