Does anyone know if using bacon grease is a good attractant for walleye and if not what is?

Not sure about bacon grease, but here's a partial list, at least some of the ones I've heard about.
WD-40
Preparation-H
Anise Oil
Blueberry Jelly
Ground up fish livers
Honey
Ground up worms (with any of the afore mentioned products mixed in)

Don't know about bacon grease for walleye, but it sure does the job on walleye express.

I used and Pro Staffed for the Dr. Juice product brand for years back in the 80's to early 90's for Salmon, Steelheads, Walleyes and even Lakers with (I feel) excellent/improved results. I've always been a believer in scents for Neutral fish, ever since that one day in the early 80's, when an inexperienced stranger fishing the same holes behind me on the Big Manistee smoked me while using it. The only downside to the juice was its physical make-up back then. It was kinda messy/sticky to apply always clogging in the bottle and application tip, and seemed to eventually take the paint off your lures over time in the tackle box. I think they have since changed their products application features and formula to avoid both these results. But I now use the Aerisol (spray-On) scent product they call B.A.N.G. for all species. "Combo Flavor" is my favorite, with "Shad" scent coming in a close second. I don't Pro Staff for them, but would love to, as the stuff aint cheap, about $7.00 to $8.00 a can. But one spary application per 3 to 4 hours is all you need. I cringe when I get clients on any of my boats who think every time the lure comes in you have to spray it.
