| This is kind of a tough choice, mostly because of the age difference.
The Explorer is more reifned, with floor, storage, better seats, carpet, etc. It is also 4 years older. Probably a bit wider, too. Console vs tiller.
It has a Yammy 4-stroke, vs. a Johnson/Suzi. A wash there, I think. The Explorer has a good depth finder in the X-85.
I think it comes down to what type of fishing do you do. If the Explorer is in great shape, It would probably be more comfortable, for the wife, too. What is the rated HP for the Explorer. 50 may be a bit underpowered for a console boat?

I HAVE A 2005 ALSAKAN WITH 50 TILLER HONDA AND LIKE THE BOAT MORE EVERY TIME I USE IT. I WOULD BUY THE ALSAKAN. | |
