Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I may be the last guy who knows this, but I do now, and maybe I can enlighten someone else. After several years with a cell phone, and paying insurance on different phones for many months, I had a mishap. I will leave it at "It got wet!" I just renewed a contract and pay 6.95 per month for insurance. Surely a 150.00 phone would be worth 7 bucks a month should there be a problem. The part that I did not expect was a deductable when I returned the "Wet" phone. Cellular one charges a 50.00 deductable on the insurance. Now, it just doesn't feel like the insurance was a great deal. Just wanted to let everyone know.

| Were you given a copy of a written contract when you first bought the insurance? Or, at any time thereafter? If not, then you may have a very large "beef" with them.... | |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I agree with Jayman! I too want to know how it got wet. By the way Denny, Zip-Loc bags are only a couple bucks for 50 of them. LOL!

| A quite a few of my friends have insurance on their cells, i don't, the reason is 6 or 7 dollars a month plus your 40 or 50 dollar deductible, check out ebay, when i got a new phone a few months ago i looked on there, should i break my phone i could buy the same one on ebay brand new for 70 or 80 dollars, versus $250 from the cell company, you just have to make sure that phone is set up for your particular service so your provider can activate it when you get it | |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | The man, that is exactly what I have found. As far as how it got wet, well, sunday afternoon, going to the raft for the last time, everyone is in a hurry. I needed to make a quick pit stop, and they of course called me from a beeping truck in front of my house to tell me to hurry up, and when I tried to answer it, sploosh!
