Subject: Green Bay ?

So I have a question to throw out to you guys.. I normally mainly salmon fish, but may be moving to Depere and am looking for a little walleye info. If I move, I am looking for a general area close to home to sneak out on weeknights after work, close to home to try and get a little action. I do need a decent launch, especially if I am by myself with my 21' boat.. I am just looking for some general info on where to head proibably mainly summer from The launch at the mouth of the fox where I could get some action.. Just a general reef, depth, or any starting point would be much appreciated. If you dont want to post, email me [email protected]. I am not very experienced on the bay, so anything is appreciated. Thanks. Kyle

The Green bay Metro launch is very nice.
There is excelent fishing within a few miles in any direction of the launch.

Ok, Thanks, is there a particular type of area or depth that you would normally start out targeting? Also is there any areas I need to stay away from unmarked prop eaters ect..? Thanks again.

Watch out if you go to Ganos Reef.... the top of the reef is less than 2 feet deep and in moderate waves.. you will hit everytime on the downstroke... I would invest in a high Definition Map for sure... They will show 1 foot increments instead of the 5 foot scale on normal maps...

Lots of big fish to be had, look for weed beds in 8-10 feet of water and troll harnesses over the top with no weights. #5 Blades in Holigraphic blue and greens work well @.9 to 1.5 mph.

Try working the 19 feet sections and look for fish on your graph. Target these fish however deep they are with snap weights and harnesses.

The bay is not that hard to figure out, guys post information here daily in summer on the Bay.

Thankyou for all the info, I'm sure it will help a ton.. I assume ganos would show up on my map card on my GPS, but thanks, I will keep my eyes out for it and give it a try as soon as I get time..
