Jim, thanks for another tournament that was professionally ran. I especially liked the weigh in where we kept them in the boat and trailered up to the tent. Nice touch! Could you let us know what happened to the team that had to come in with another boat? I just caught bits and pieces of it. I'm glad they are ok, but what happened? If you don't mind my asking. Also, the kids were very thankful and happy when they got their hats. The big guy was ecstatic when he won a rod and reel combo. Thank You. You are a class act!

Hi Bob

Thanks for the positive note on the tournament.

The team that broke down lost power to the main engine. They were trying to get to shore but had trouble with handling the waves with the kicker. Jim Pyle went out with hopes to assist them into shore but with the five foot plus waves he was unable to cotrol his boat and tow the other boat to shore. He brought on partner in and the other stayed with the boat. The Coast Gaurd towed the boat and other in safely. Jim deserves credit for his actions. It is another example of a tournament angler, at risk to himself going out to assist a team in trouble.

Thanks
