Location: Neenah, WI | Tough bite on Saturday. Took 5th in the Brothertown tourney with only 3 fish @ 4.75 pounds. About 30 of the 46 boats zeroed. Rumor has it the winner brought in dead, white-colored walleyes - 13+ pounds worth. |

| I believe it was around 12.45 lbs. Andy Kroll was the winner and he also had the big fish of 6.75 lbs. |

| We were in the tournament and one guy we know had 13.24 lbs on the scale, five fish. |

| My daughter and I were the winners with 13lbs at Brothertown's tourney, yes, five out of our six fish limit was " dead & white" looking.
As for why the fish were in poor shape, the livewell screens, drains and pumps were all full of dead shiners, with fuses blown and no good ones left for the pumps to run it didn't take long for the fish to die with no water. I feel bad for the dead fish and nobody should have to explain themselves like this.
This little go around in the morning with 74.5 degree water will not take long for fish to look that way.
If you need anymore than that I was in 3.5 feet of water running shad raps along side of 150 other boats in the river mouth. Oh ya, only two boats from our tourney came over in the morning from our side.
If you must know last year I fished the same spot and took 2nd place, play your odds with the numbers of fish in the river you will get biten.

Location: Neenah, WI | Tony - congratulations on the win. You scored big on a day where most people found it a tough bite. I wasn't too far from you, but opted to jig/slip bobber vs. troll.
And thanks for the explanation. I didn't see the fish, and didn't make any accusations, just reported the rumor I heard.

| Dont worry about what other people think. If you can sleep at night knowing in your heart and guts that u won fair and square, thats all you need to do. No explination needed. Nothing causes the ugly beast of jealousy to rear its head other than anothers good fortune. We have all had boat malfunctions! |

Location: Appleton wi | Tony congrats on the win and it takes a great man to respond back on here even though you could have just blown it off responding on here .I agree with guess everyone has technical issue with there boat or engine at some point in the tournaments career including myself (had my fair share) so dont feel to bad about the floaters you did what you could do on game day and you still WON!
