Location: Menasha, WI | Got out a little late this morning (6am) and wasted a good 1.5 hours fishing slips on the reefs -- nothing but sheephead. I kept thinking that the next one would be an eye After 50 goats, I pulled anchor and started trolling cranks but had trouble controlling my 14' boat in the wind. Finally, I decided to work with the wind and drifted harnesses along reefs and it payed off with a good bag of 13"-14" fish. Small blades, holographic and copper, 3/8oz weight 30' behind the boards then 10' to the harness at .6-.9mph

Location: Menasha, WI | I was out on the north end early this morning and started hitting the eyes right away. Action was steady until the wind picked up then it slowed a bit. Drifting brownish holographic crawler harnesses along the bottom in 9-12 fow at .5-.7mph was the best producer. I boated over 20 eyes but the biggest was only 16". Kept a limit of 13"-16"ers for lunch.

Location: Neenah Wi | Went out at about 3:00 til dark started in the mud off the golf course on the north end and headed towards stevens and had 2 fish in the boat pulling cranks.Decided to head towards the rocks and could barely keep 6 boards in,but most were smaller fish.We did manage to get 8 fish between 14-17" the last fish was the only sheepy we got the whole time out.The spot we did go to was where the wind was blowing into in about 8fow #4&5 shad raps in the glass perch and white.I really don't think color would have made a difference. We did get a few fish on the deeper side on wally divers too.Took a ride to a couple of landings this morn.and talked to a couple of guys and they did not do as well as yesterday. Not many out in the mud and a few on the reefs north of oshkosh. It sure would be a long ride back to Fond du lac from this end.I'll be out on sunday. |

Location: Menasha, WI | Was out on the northern end for the 3rd straight morning. The school of fish that I worked Fri & Sat moved about 1/4 mile north and once I found them there was no consistent pattern so I threw everything and anything at 'em and managed to boat about a dozen also lost a real nice one at the side of the boat. |

| The depth was in the upper 10 feet of the water column in 16 fow. Got most of the fish on natural shad colors with a few on shallow running blue/chrome husky jerks. Hope this helps....I would like to go tomorrow, but no truck to pull the boat so will have to wait. If someone wants to go message me if you gotta mid sized truck and we can go out of oshkosh. Needs to haul a 18 ft fiberglass boat, FLY |
