My dad was fishing coulic slough and jennys slough last week and was skunked....He was fishing with my mom for panish so not really covering a lot of water, but he did say the weeds aren't real grown in yet. He was throwing spinner baits. I was thinking of using a vacation day to try that for a day...anyone getting anything? FLY

Sorry for the delay responding, just been swamped. Got bit off a few times on Lake Poygan and have heard of a few locals catching some, but I don't think many people are targeting them right now. The hot spell might change what part of the system they are using. I like a willow leaf spinner bait and throw it at every thing, even let it drop and jig it on deep edges. Something plastic on the hook can help and a bigger bait might keep smaller fish off. Can catch some bass in the mix too. Partridge Lake can hold some fish in open water, even a small clump of weeds or small rut can hold a fish. LONG casts are best.

Seen some in the templeton ( I think) bayou. Way up reever of red banks.

I hooked into some beeg ones last fast right on the reever. Both cut my line.

Not sure, but a piece up river from templeton, on the left (when facing up reeer) long stretch of rock on shore big bend.
