As many of you know, Jacob was diagnosed with Brain Cancer a few weeks ago. He has since had surgery, but things didn't turn out for the best. Jacob has since had seizures, and is now paralyzed from the waist down.

Jacob has decided to spend his last days with his family rather than in Iowa City getting Ki mo. Dr.'s can't say it would help if he went through the treatment. Jacob only has a few months if that left with us.

Jacob is a young man at 27 has a wife and two lovely kids that will need help paying the bills when he is fishing in Heaven.

I would like to ask for us fisherman to help another fisherman in need. Even if you can only send a few dollars, it will help if we all pitch in. You can make checks out to:

Jacob Yarolim Fund
53 Yale Ave
Maquoketa, IA 52060

There will also be a benefit for Jacob here shortly at the Eagles Club in Maquoketa. I will post more info as I get it.

Hi,

I'd be glad to offer what I can. Could we send money via PayPal? I'll send some out today if that's the case. Otherwise I'll send a check ASAP.

Thanks,

Reels,

You can also count me in for donating two 16 packs of crawler harnesses from my online store. 16 harnesses with assorted #3 Colorado blades and 16 #3 Colorado Blades with floats. Where can we send auction donations too?

One of Jacobs dreams was to fish as a co-anlger in a pro walleye tourney.

Would anyone have a 2x tourney shirt that he could have to wear if we can get him into a wheel chair to the benefit? Even if he could wear in bed, it would make his day.

I recieved the call from Jake's dad this morning-

Good Morning All, It saddens me to say that Jacob (Fisher1) has passed away. Everyone needs to know that he is in a better place and is fishing with his grandpas. Renea, Tabitha and I want you all know how much we appreciate all the prayers over the past weeks. Even though he never met any of you he considered you all his friends.
