FLEET FARM WALLEYE OPEN SCHEDULED AUGUST 5TH AND 6TH, 2006 ON THE ENTIRE WINNEBAGO SYSTEM

APPLETON: The Fleet Farm Walleye Open will be August 5, and August 6, 2006 fishing the entire Winnebago system. There will be registration and rules meeting will be at Menominee Park, Oshkosh. Registration is 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2006. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Friday August 4, 2006.

Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. The entire Winnebago system will be open to fishing.

The Fleet Farm Walleye Open is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites.

The Fleet Farm Walleye Open is run by Fishermen for Fishermen.

The major sponsors for the Fleet Farm Walleye Open are Mills Fleet Farm, Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, MotorGuide and Okuma Rod and Reels.

Site sponsors include Anglers Pride, Action Discs, Bait Rigs, Lakemaster, Ka Boom Lures, StowMaster Nets, Smooth Move Seats, All Sport & Trophy, and Troll Master.

There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the rules meeting, However entries postmarked or taken after July 30, 2006 will be charged a processing fee. As of today we are at 110 teams and teams stating they were going to sign up between now and the rules meeting Friday.

For those of you that know Jim, he has been in the hospital for a few days. He had a case of dehydration, which has affected his kidney. Indicated reports are the Dr. caught it in time and he shouldn’t have any lasting effects from this.
Get well soon Jim. We missed you at the Fleet Farm tourney!
Your crew did a great job my hats off to them.
