Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | For the last week or so I've compared the fishing on the Saginaw Bay to what we had back in 1989 and 90. But I'm starting to believe it's even beter than that right now. My trip this morning was 2 hours and 10 minutes long before we were limited out. We had on 27 fish, lost 4 (with 2 being dandys) and boxed 14 walleyes and a nice pike. I was back at the dock cleaning fish by 11:00am. That is fishing beyond belief.

Location: Fox Lake, Illinois | Had that same thing, caught 40 in a couple of hours, some 24-28 inches (which we released). Everyone talks about Erie, Saginaw is the up and coming place to fish for eyes! |

| Erie is producing fish at a very quick pace.Fished on a charter last sat. and boated 48 eyes with 8 guys on board in a little over 2 hours with most being over 20 inches and the biggest going 29.5 inches..Erie is STILL the walleye capital of the world.

| Glad too see it's statewide! We're starting to cool off here in the river and Erie, but limits are still toooo easy. Just a matter if you're going to do it under an hour per person or just over now Two weeks ago I put 30 walleye+(5 went home) in the boat to myself on two rods in 4 hours. About 80 if you include the white bass and perch. Upgraded for hours until they were all in the mid to upper 20's. Even the old wise ones say it's the best fishing they've EVER seen! |

Location: kawkawlin, mi | the bay is really booming right now. its nothing to catch 40-60 walleye in an outing. lots of small fish. if they dont eat theirself out of house and home things are gonna be awesome size wise in a few years. as for now, lots of good eaters in the 15-17" range. get out and get ya some. |
