| Chase Parsons was packing crawlers into his cooler at the gas station, icing his cooler, and preparing to head for the launch. " I'll either come in with a zero or 25#", he said. Bill Ortiz was confident, and seemed happy with the weather as he tied up some last minute rigs. Dave VanOss said, "I just didn't get it done yesterday. I know the fish are there, I just need to get the bites!"
Daryl Christensen was also looking for an improved bite with the front coming in and a chance for showers. Temps in the 70's, moderate SW winds, and a 30% chance of a storm is forecast for the day.
The weigh in will begin at about 4:15 Central Time.

Location: Rhinelander | The bite was MUCH tougher today for most of the field in part because the wind died this morning and didn't fire back up until moments before the Tournament was over. On the water temps hit 95 degrees this early afternoon in sweltering FAC conditions. Chase Parsons lost TWO big fish this morning; in his words, " I choked. This one will hurt for awhile." Still, a top 10 finish is pretty respectable and a place where 50 other Pros wished they held, as PWT Executive Director Jim Kalkofen pointed out during the awards ceremony. Chase added, " I guess I AM pretty young yet, I still have about 20 years at least to fish!"
From the bow of Gary Roach's boat, I bet it's more like 40.
Pete commented that he really didn't do that well today, it was just a case of others who had a shot at burying him doing not as well as he. I'd argue with that one; he WON!
Second Place finisher Bill St Peter also captured the Coleman Cool Under Pressure award and the E-cell heavy wieght award for his day two bag that hit 23.65#. His remarkable comeback for a near win from a total weight on day One 1.20 pound one fish day was nothing short of incredible when considering the bite.

| I have three feelings about today, and being Im just got home from night shift and couldnt see the weigh in.......heres my feelings
1) AWESOME job Pete, you proved that 2 good limits on a tough bite can "git r done"
2) Great comeback by Bill St. Peter, I bet hes wishing he had one more fish or two on day one.
3) Chase, you had a great tournament, dont be discouraged. It happens to everyone. The best thing in your young career that you can do is learn. You have a lot of tourneys coming at you in the next decade and what you have proven thus far should only make you better. Your an idol to me and I cant wait to follow in your footsteps. Keep up the good work.
