| Took out a buddy of mine who had never fished for walleyes before. Got out at 4 pm to calm water, hot temps and surprisingly some active walleyes. Drifted for the first hour or two getting 5 fish. Kept two 15, 17.5. Than sat put on a reef top and pitched crawler/jigs and proceeded to get fish every cast for a spell. Some sheepies, but mostly walleyes. Some small, some over 15.
By 7 the lake turned bumpy and we ended up calling it a night with 7 fish over 15. 1/16 oz jigs casting, 1/4 oz drifting in a chartruse pattern.
Water temp at 5 pm was 82 degrees!!! | |

| seemed to me on friday night they wanted a lure that had a holographic like image, best on a little clear lure that had a orangish tint not even sure what the bait was, prolly had it for years and it had never touched the water before, and some random lures that were holographic still seem to be doing best on the eyes around 14 -17' down, didnt go out today to darn hot | |
