Thanks everyone for your support. Wish I could have turned it on in the semis, but I still exceeded my expectations. Based on prefishing, I thought if I could put 2-3 fish in the boat a day, I'd be doing well. On day 1, in the first 10 minutes, I got a 10.5 and 5 lber. Thought I was gonna tear them apart, but only managed one more keeper for the day.

On day 2, we got two 4's right away and waited till 2:45 for another 4.5. Just in the nick of time, I qualified with 28lbs, 15 ozs. All these fish were caught jigging.

On day 3, the area I was fishing was all to myself. I could tell it wasn't gonna be an easy day due to the air temp. was about 25 and the water temp was down 4 degrees. Didn't get a hit till 2 pm, and managed to boat the only hit I had all day. Finished 18th with 3 lbs 3 ozs.

If there's anyone out there who is considering fishing any RCL events, I encourage them to do so. This is a first class operation. The poeple who work for FLW Outdoors are great. Hope to see you on the water soon.....Jerry.
