Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Got to my boat this morning for my 1/2 day charter, hooked up the fish finder and Raytheon GPS and turned them on. For some reason the Raytheon wasn't coming on. Looked on the back and I had hooked the plug up wrong. Moved it to its righful place and it came on. Bad part was the screen didn't look right. It looked like it did when I first got the unit. Before I entered all the commmands and waypoints. OH MY GOD I thought. NOOOOOOOOO.......but, YESSSSSSSSS........ 139 waypoints collected over 20+ years were gone into hyper space. But then I remembered I had them all stored on my PC at home as well as on CD disc from the company I'm teamed with at Electronic Guide Service. So I'll be on my boat tomorrow for 1/2 a day re-entering all my numbers and names. Anyway, we headed out and I played our position by ear and memory, the lures by speed and depth of course, and we boated 9 decent walleyes for the 1/2 day and threw twice as many back. And the beat goes on.

Location: Rhinelander | Actually, guest, I do. I enjoy reading the reports about fishing successes from Dan, and like to see the pictures of happy anglers. If you don't just don't click on the thread, that should be easy enough. | |
