MIDWEST WALLEYE SERIES (MWS) CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULED SEMPTEMBER 30 ON THE BAY OF GREEN BAY, MENOMINEE, MI.

APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) Championship will be in Menominee, MI. on Saturday September 30, 2006 and will include fishing the entire Bay of Green Bay. The top twenty five teams from the year will compete followed by a banquet at the Rail House in Marinette, WI. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers

The registration and rules meeting will be at Menominee Marina located on Doyle Drive, Menominee; MI. Registration is 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2006. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Friday September 29, 2006.

The Championship tournament is for the top twenty five teams only. The banquet is open to all MWS anglers, their guest, and sponsors. If you would like information about the banquet or the MWS call 920-731-3474 or e-mail [email protected].

Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM with the entire Bay being open to fishing. The weigh-in and boat checks will be at Menominee Marina.

Next years MWS schedule will be out shortly.

Championship results will be posted Saturday afternoon on our web page www.fishtfm.com.

The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership.

The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen.

I'll be home this weekend if you wish to send me updates or call them in, and a few pictures, I'd be happy to feature the event here on WalleyeFIRST. We do a fair amount of coverage for Muskie events in this manner. It's easy, and nice to have the event featured as it;s happening.
