Location: Green Bay, WI. | I had to put down Tasha my 8 1/2 year old Rottweiller today at 9:41 a.m.
For those of you that have stayed at my house during tourneys or prefishing, you know how sweet she was. Hell it only took me a week to teach her how to spoon in my king size bed (the wife didn't like that)
For those of you that know me, you know I hardly drink anymore. Well right after I dropped her off to be cremated I was in the tavern hoping someone wood say something about the Biker with tears coming from behind his sunglasses.
God I miss her! |

Only devoted pet owners and lovers know the gut wrenching feeling it is to say goodbye to an animal that becomes a special part of your family, never judges your moods, never remembers your anger or holds a grudge toward's you, and only ever cared about you and what you were always doing. For something that is not suppose to have a soul, it makes me wonder sometimes about the true meaning, nature and intention of having one. Get out pup shopping as soon as you can. Sounds to me like your home would be a great place to live if I was a Rottie.

| Pat,
Sorry to hear about Tasha. She was a good dog, and I feel your pain. Always hard to lose a good dog. Hang in there, pal. Give Christy my best, too |

Sorry to hear about Tasha. She had an imposing look but she was a sweet animal for sure.

| Pat,
So sorry to hear of your great loss. There are no words to make you feel better, I know. My heart aches just thinking about that day when we will have to make that same decision.
Know that you did the right thing for your girl...she loves you no matter what, and is going to be with you always.
You have our deepest sympathies,
Juls and Rick |

Location: Lincoln Park, Mi | That's a bummer. I feel for you. Loss of a pet can bring anyone to tears. If it doesn't, there's something wrong with you.
My 9 year old Rott passed on this spring. Chin up big guy. Now they can keep an eye on us and safe out on the big water. |

Location: Midland, MI 48642 | Hi Pat, really sorry to hear about your loss. I know the pain. They surely are one of the family. Am sure you have lots of good memories and pics. Just reading your post brought back the day I had to do the same thing. Chin up. I got a kick out of your "spooning in bed" lolol hahhaha Cool. Take care Pat. Nels |

| Hey buddy, I'm sorry to hear about Tasha. She was a special dog for both you and Christy. Try to think about the good times you had with her and the pain won't be so bad.
Remember the time I stayed at your place when I came over for the Vikings game at Lambeau. On Sunday morning Tasha was wearing her Packer shirt, and she started growling at me when I put my Viking jersey on!! I'm just glad she wouldn't attack me when you started telling her to "KILL"!!
All my best to you and Christy.

Location: Green Bay, WI. | Thanks Guys, I had to get out of the house for a few days. I went to Rhinelander bowhunting with my brothers. And wouldn't you know that I would see a SH-T load of deer and couldn't force myself to shoot one.
My wife tells me our other dog won't touch her dog food since Tasha passed, so she's been feeding her people food.
I'll never understand why Tasha didn't bite you Jack! Must of been because Christy only brushes our dogs teeth once a week and Tasha didn't want that taste in her mouth for 5 days. ROTFLMAO
Or why she liked sleeping with Shep or Mark(Little Nephew) I guess it was a good thing I had her fixed, That would of been scary a litter of Shep & Rott. I would of had to go for Palimony.
I know it will get better, but this is my first night in the house without her and I miss her 20lb head on my lap, or that she wasn't bouncing around in front of the living room window knowing I was coming.
Now it's time to teach the other woman in my life to spoon, and not slobber on my pillow.
Thanks, Pat & Christy we really appreciate the thoughts. |

Or it could of been seeing you in your underwear that Sunday morning, she was never the same. Here is a visual of Jack for everyone, picture Bigfoot using Rogain wearing a depends with a patch over one eye. ROTFLMAO
