| I was going to get my boat winterized this weekend, but it looks like Sunday is going to be a nice day. Does anyone know how the walleye fishing is in DePere? I thought maybe I would go up there for one last trip this year. I fished the Wolf last weekend and worked pretty hard just to catch a couple fish. Red Banks was the best area for me. Caught a couple nice eating fish. I figured things might be a little more exciting in DePere this weekend. Thanks in advance for any help.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Don't know about DePere Mark, but I am heading up to the UP Sunday right after work. I will be leaving around 6 a.m. so it should be warming up by the time I get there. It will be my first time up there and I am looking forward to it. Tight Lines. |

| If you're heading up to Bays de Noc, it should be fun. Lots of fish and lots of fun. Make sure you check with the bait shops. They usually have a good idea of whats going on. They were very helpful when I was up there for the MWC this summer. Good Luck and hope you get that BIG one!!

| I didn't catch any huge fish but caught around 35 in a few hours of casting near the fast water and in the area of 3 - 5 feet of water.
Dave's Kabooms, twitched slowly back, were the best baits but we caught fish on litlle Shad Raps and on biger baits such as Husky jerks and Rouges.
Plenty of fish to catch jigging in the hole too.
Have fun |

| UP trip is cancelled. Oh Well! Looks like DePere tomorrow. Anybody know if the docks are still in at the mouth or Fox Point? How's the water level? |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Fishing on the Fox Sunday was excellent. Fished from 12 til 3 and landed at least 20 eyes ranging from 15 to 23 inches. Didn't even have to fight the crowd by the dam. Fished downstream a little and pink was the jig color of the day. What a great way to spend a few hours. Better than watching Da Bears get their butts handed to them. |

Location: Freedom, WI | Wish I could get back out in a boat, but have been catching a few fish from shore wading out, nothing special or fast and furious though. Nothing tonight in an hour of wading between classes. The water was really clear today, which was probably why I couldn't catch anything. Saw some fish caught jigging the break straight out from me, just out of my casting distance. Thats how it goes I guess. If anyone needs a partner let me know! |

| Horshak,
That must have been you in the nice looking Tuffy. I was in the Skeeter with Mercs. My Dad and I caught about 20 fish as well. Pretty much the same size as yours. We caught most of our fish in 25ft right before it came up to 20ft. In front of the lock channel. Blue/White, Purple, Chartruse, and zip lures all worked for us. I did have one fish on that I couldn't get of bottom. He was only on for about 30 seconds. Could have been a big walleye or something else. Whatever it was, it was big. It was definately nice not having to fight the crowds like in Spring.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Mark, there were 2 Tuffy 2060's out there. Mine was the maroon one and I was the only occupant. I believe I saw you guys. I kinda like doing my own thing and not following the crowds. It paid off. Glad to hear you had success also. Tight Lines. |
