These are the newer version for 24/36 volt systems wired in SERIES, not the original system for 12 volts (or batteries wired parallel), which are selling much cheeper.

These are still selling on line and other places for over $150 but I have a few for $50 each

Great inexpensive addition to an on-board charger in a lot of situations like long runs to lake, aerating live wells etc.

Will this unit work with a 12v system... I have an unusual setup... I have two trolling batteries that are used in series via a switch for a 24v transom mount motor... And, they are used in parallel again via a switch for a 12v bow mount system... So, when not is use they are three separate batteries, a starting battery and two 12v batteries

I am totally unsure but the package says 24/36 volt system in SERIES. I looked on line and saw that the original system is for 12 volt systems in parallel, and sells for about the same money as what I have here, which is still selling for about $150 in other places.
