After all my success with the glass Raps this year, I think this will be on my X-Mas list Must Haves, what do you think?

It may not catch more fish but will certainly catch more fishermen including me. Reports from the other site are very positive. Most reports are from Erie guys who had the luxury of getting some prototypes.

I was personally one of the People who had the opportunity to fish with some of the prototype Bare Naked baits this summer. I sat in Scott’s (Reef Runner) office and discussed the color changes I would make to the bait. How wrong I was. Scott and I went fishing the next and that bait caught 2 to 1 over all the other baits we had out and we only had 1 out. We caught more than 50 fish that day. The next day Kim and I went out and it held it’s own to all other baits we had out. The Dave’s Gold Fish jointed Mean Streak kept up with it, but that was the only bait that did. There were streaks the one of those 2 baits caught most of the fish. Now don’t get me wrong, I know a thing or two about catching fisherman (they don’t call Kim the Queen of color for nothing), but in my opinion most people will look at Bare Naked and say, that won’t catch fish it needs some color (Me included) until you put it in the water, it looks so much like a shad running in the water its unreal. The day I returned to MN I placed a large order for Bare Naked just the way Scott built it.
We are also building a White version and later this winter a Purple version (because we have already been asked to build those colors). But I will personally have a pile of the True Bare Naked in the boat next summer.

Thank Ed,

Put me down for 6 each of each size and shape and color.

You are also correct about the gold fish Mean Streak.

No doubt both lures will be hot this season.

I'm also surprised that more people have not been talking about the SPARX series at Dave's. I love the shad a fruit puch colors.

Ed,
Thanks for the comments, I think the Purple would be a great bait here in WI. Put me down for a half dozen as well as the clear shad right after the holidays! My stocking is already too full this year! Heck send me some photo ready art and I'll be sure all the local shop buyers know about them! This WILL be a May/June bait on Bago!

Good Luck
