Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | As of yesterday the gates at the city of Escanaba River landing "NORTHSHORE BOAT LANDING" has been re-opened!
With the warming conditions, 40' today get the boats back out and you can tell everyone you fished Little Bay de Noc "open-water" January 2007.
Right now waters are wide open from the Gladstone Narrows south!
We'll keep you in touch on changing conditions!

| Capt. Marty.....
Your killing me.... I just got back from Depere and saw your post... I made a bunch of calls and could not find anyone who wanted to leave at a moments notice, drive 3 hours and fish all night long and then drive back to the valley by noon.... I gotta get more friends that can stay awake for longer than 24 hours with no sleep...
If you get any reports... please let me know, I may have to make a deal with my spouse for an additional day off in exchange for an extra big honey-do list later this spring.

Location: Rhinelander | Crazy weather! It's 35 degrees here, and is supposed to rain this evening. Then, it's supposed to snow. When was the last time The Bays were fishable by boat in January? |
