Location: WI | I would like to take GPS data from my Garmin 12 handheld and feed it to
my 334. Because the 334 is not so great at gathering Sat. data. I need to network. I have a data cable for the Garmin 12. It has a d-sub connector.
I could wire a d-sub connector on the 334. Anybody care to get me started?

Location: Forest Lake, MN | You might first try pulling the 334 out from where its at, if you have it in the dash, and see how well it receives. I just posted some where else questioning on whether the 334 are suffering from interference from other things mounted around it. Could gauges located near by be shielding the units and creating RFI? The back side of those guages are metal housings. Toss in the steering column too.
Could this have an effect on your reception?

| Get that 334 back to Lowrance. They had some problems with the early internal antenna units, and will take care of them. Call Lowrance, and get the RA and send it in. You will be happy you did. |

| Lowrance and Garmin data are not in the same format, you will have to go here http://www.easygps.com/ and convert the Garmin data into Lowrance. |
