Volunteer for a day

Kids Wish for Fish Posted 1/15/2007 10:45 PM (#50612) Subject: Volunteer for a day On June 3, 2007 We will once again be holding the Kids Wish for Fish event. This event is for giving kids in the area a chance to go out onto a boat and fish for a few hours. This event is not about me, my guide service or my website. It is intended strictly for the kids, and is about nothing but giving those kids a chance to have a fun day on the water. We chose June 3, 2007 as the date, because this is Sunday of the free fishing weekend, and this way, parents or guardians will not have the burden of having to buy a license. I am looking for volunteers for this event and am asking for you to contact me via the messenger or feel free to call me at 920.268.5155. I am looking for volunteers for the following things: Donate your boat, gas, time, and all rigs and take a child fishing. I am looking for set up crews, take down crews, and also cooks, and also to direct people where to go.We are in need of monetary contributions as well to hold this great event. Last year we took 15 kids out on the lake, and all kids went home with a trophy, rod and reel, and several other items donated by various vendors. I want to thank you all for taking the time to read this. I know this is not a report, but I feel it is important to get our youth involved. If we can keep just one kid off the streets and off of drugs or alcohol, then this is all worth it. Thank you all, and I look forward to hearing from you if you care to get involved. The reason it is being sent out now is because I know a lot of you tournament fish, or plan other things ahead time, and I was just hoping that some of you may put this on your calender as well. I'm assuming it will be held on Bago. I am definitely interested but would like a few more details.
